Our Story
Where We Come From
Red Cliff's Aviation was started by Jebediah Baker in February of 2024 about a year into his career as a "free-lance" CFI in Southern Utah. Slowly growing his name and clientele over his past two years of flight instructing, the company was able to set it's roots in Cedar City, Utah and acquire its American Champion Citabria Explorer to provide the advanced training which was the goal and dream for a long time.
Looking ahead, we plan to expand our training capabilities with the addition of a Beechcraft Bonanza by the end of 2025. This will enable us to provide advanced commercial training, along with comprehensive complex and high-performance instruction. Future growth plans for 2026 include adding the ACA Extreme Decathlon, Aviat Pitts S2B, and Beechcraft B55 Baron to our fleet.

Jebediah Baker

He grew up on the outskirts of the small town of San Miguel, California. Growing up there he spent most of his time in the outdoors, hiking and backpacking in the Sierra mountains every year with his father. With their beauty and memories, those mountains would become the basis for his love of Mountain Flying. He graduated SUU with a Bachelors of Science in Aviation and Aerospace Studies in Spring of 2025.

I am from Henderson, Nevada! I grew up fascinated with aviation watching Baa Baa Black Sheep with my mom as she regaled me with stories of her flying days when she was a teenager. She gifted me a discovery flight during my senior year of highschool and since then I have loved learning and teaching people how to fly!
